As the Hellfire Gala came to an end in today’s X-FACTOR #10, so did the life of one of Marvel’s most iconic heroes: the Scarlet Witch! This shocking murder will lead directly into THE TRIAL OF MAGNETO, a brand-new limited series launching in August written by X-Factor scribe Leah Williams with art by Lucas Werneck (Empyre: X-Men).  

Over the course of award-winning writer Gene Luen Yang and rising star artist Dike Ruan’s redefining work on SHANG-CHI, the iconic martial arts hero has taken over leadership of his evil father’s cult-like organization known as the Five Weapons Society. In the process, Shang-Chi has reconnected with his many siblings, and in this month’s SHANG-CHI #3, he’ll discover yet another sister, a mutant warrior named Zhilan! Gifted with the ability to transform music into solidified energy, Zhilan is a formidable fighter who was banished from the Five Weapons Society by Shang-Chi’s father long ago. Yesterday, fans learned that the Scarlet Witch’s shocking murder will be the mystery behind the upcoming series, X-MEN: THE TRIAL OF MAGNETO! Now, check out brand-new cover artwork from top artists Stanley “Artgerm” Lau and Elizabeth Torque as well as the fully revealed main cover by Valerio Schiti. These gorgeous pieces showcase Wanda Maximoff in what will be a major turning point in her complex history with Magneto and the X-Men…  

Last week, Marvel announced that a team of superstar writers will assemble this October for a brand new run of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. Zeb Wells, Kelly Thompson, Saladin Ahmed, Cody Ziglar, and Patrick Gleason have crafted a saga beyond anything that’s come before in Spider-Man history, and the soon-to-be thrice-monthly series will boast an all-star team of amazing artists.  

A bold new age of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN is on the horizon! Starting in October, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN will return with a story so bombastic that it will take greatest team of web-writers and arachnid-artists ever assembled to tell it.
