straightedge hardcore band Suffocate Faster release the second collection of tracks in the band’s two-part EP release, “This Is The Way Vol. 2” via Smartpunk Records. The band continues to please heavy music fans with their fast-paced, no-fluff tracks that bring nonstop energy from beginning to end. Together, the two EPs complete this collection of tracks and mark the band’s return to hardcore for their first release since 2008. Along the way, Suffocate Faster continues to interlace messages about their straightedge lifestyle and positive mindset within each release.

Christmas time is here again! King Diamond‘s No Presents for Christmas was originally released in 1985 and now Metal Blade Records is reissuing this 2-track classic on vinyl, just in time for Black Friday. No Presents for Christmas features new cover art and is available worldwide in two new vinyl colors. Side 1 features the title track, “No Presents for Christmas” and Side 2 features “Charon” (from “Fatal Portrait”). In honor of the release, the band has also worked with their US merch company to offer a lithograph signed by King Diamond himself.  

Z2 Comics release, Iron Maiden: Piece of Mind features original stories for each of the nine album tracks including Where Eagles Dare – written by Steven Grant (The Punisher) illustrated by Carson Thorn (Batman the Barbarian), Revelations – fittingly crafted by Bruce Dickinson with Tony Lee (Doctor Who) and illustrated by Damien Worm (The October Faction);

Long-running San Diego, California-based deathgrind summoners CATTLE DECAPITATION will kick off their Terrasitic Infestation North American headlining tour Friday November 10th in Ventura, California. The journey will make its way through over two-dozen cities, coming to a close on December 16th on the band’s home turf of San Diego, California.  

Since launching in June, writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson and artist Nic Klein’s new run of INCREDIBLE HULK has been serving up a gamma-powered dose of hulkish horror as Bruce Banner descends on a dark journey into the world of MONSTERS! New Orleans’ favorite extreme metal alchemists, GOATWHORE, will kick off their Fall headlining tour TONIGHT November 3rd in Little Rock, Arkansas. The tour will wind its way through 21 cities through the Northeast, Southeast, and Midwest, drawing to a close on November 26th in Pensacola, Florida. Support will be provided by Withered and Spiter. The journey follows the band’s tour supporting Eyehategod, currently underway.

Since their formation in 1994, SEVENDUST have attained success with three consecutive RIAA gold-certified albums, a Grammy nomination, have sold millions of records worldwide, and toured with some of rock’s most renowned names (Ozzy Osbourne, Tool, and Megadeth, among others). Several of their classic albums will be issued via BMG as part of a nine-LP boxset releasing today, October 13, 2023, while the seven-CD boxset will be released on November 17th, 2023. Both LP and CD boxsets are titled, Seven of Sevendust.
