Wisconsin thrash metallers LAZARUS A.D. are set to hit the road on the band’s first headlining tour with the band taking on local support at each stop. The No Prisoners No Mercy Tour takes the band through NYC, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Baltimore, and more on this 14 date run kicking off in Rochester, NY on July 22. The band’s July 24th stop in Montreal at the Heavy MTL Festival sees the band playing with the likes of KISS, Motörhead, Anthrax, and Children of Bodom just to name a few.
Recently, Detroit, MI’s BATTLECROSS were shooting a video for Push Pull Destroy -the first single off of their debut album Pursuit of Honor- shot by Roy Warner Creative & Videography on location at the Yankee Air Museum, located on the grounds of the historic Willow Run Airport. It was at Willow Run where Henry Ford mobilized his manufacturing base to contribute to the war efforts by mass producing the B-24 Liberators that provided American Air Power to win WWII for the Allies.
Massachusetts metallers UNEARTH have scheduled a special in-store autograph signing in Lubbock, Texas next month. The signing will take place at Hastings Books Music & Videos on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, the same day the band’s long awaited new full-length, Darkness In The Light, drops in North America.
Alternative Rock pioneers JANE’S ADDICTION are preparing the release of their first studio album in eight years. The new album titled, The Great Escape Artist (Capitol Records) is slated for a late Summer release. The iconic trio of Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, and Stephen Perkins tapped Rich Costey (Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Interpol) to produce the new record, and also brought TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek into the mix as of the album’s creative team.
