Debuting in the Top 10 for the second consecutive time, The Devil Wears Prada sees Dead Throne (Ferret), the band’s first full-length album since 2009, claiming the #10 spot on next week’s Billboard Top 200 Albums chart with more than 32,400 copies sold, an impressive jump from the 25,000 copies their last release brought to its first chart appearance.  

Atmospheric sludge/drone act MONARCH will release their latest avant-garde oeuvre, Omens, via At A Loss Recordings this Autumn. Confirmed album info and release dates will be unveiled over the coming weeks as things take shape.  

British thrashers SAVAGE MESSIAH have been confirmed for a UK tour supporting fellow thrashers and labelmates EVILE. SAVAGE MESSIAH will be teaming up with EVILE for the “Five Serpent’s Teeth” tour, which kicks off on September 29th in London.  

CHIMAIRA will be heading out on the road for a round of dates with UNEARTH this fall on “THE JÄGERMEISTER PRESENTS TOUR”. The Jägermeister Presents Tour featuring Chimaira will begin October 10th in Kent, Ohio. The band will be touring in support of their latest record “The Age of Hell” and will be embarking on an Australian and European tour in 2012, followed by more US touring.

Wednesday, September 21, 2011 – Worship Music, (Megaforce) Anthrax’s first studio album in eight years and its first with vocalist Joey Belladonna since 1990’s Persistence of Time, blasts onto next week’s Billboard Top 200 Albums chart at #12, the band’s highest chart debut in two decades, and second-highest in its career, selling 28,500 copies.  

Irish thrashers GAMA BOMB are due to kick off a UK tour with British thrash legends ONSLAUGHT tonight at The Globe in Cardiff. GAMA BOMB will be joining ONSLAUGHT and FALLEN FATE for ten shows before heading out on a headlining European tour in October.
