Edison New Jersey’s ELIMINATOR have just released their cover of “Angel of Death” by SLAYER.  The song can be heard/viewed HERE.  The band is a two piece of “black speed” metal as singer/guitarist Warchild has described.  Along with drummer Samus (Decrepit Birth, ex-Mutiny Within, ex-Abigail Williams, ex-Suspyre), the two have just released their second full length album The One They Were Waiting For.

Rock group Tesla will be releasing Twisted Wires and The Acoustic Sessions on July 12th. The album will feature 6 tracks that were recorded back in 2005 at bassist Brian Wheat’s J STREET RECORDERS studio (which are the last recordings with original member Tommy Skeoch) and 6 newly recorded tracks which include acoustic remakes of songs from their entire catalog and two brand new songs called “Second Street” and “Better Off Without You.”

On June 28, Eagle Rock Entertainment will release Deep Purple’s Phoenix Rising – a two-hour-plus revelatory documentary including 30 minutes of never-before-seen (not even on bootleg) onstage footage from Japan. Phoenix Rising will be released on DVD, Blu-ray, & in a special two-disc DVD/CD package.
