In a year of comic market volatility and uncertainty, IDW is pledging its support for Direct Market comic retailers by extending full returnability on all new releases through at least the end of July, and removing all associated fees for the foreseeable future. These moves help to provide comic specialty shops a risk-free opportunity to stock new launches and other key IDW releases — allowing retailers to order with confidence and effectively gauge customer demand.  

“You’ll believe a man can fly.” Based on Richard Donner’s Academy Award nominated film “Superman”, the Man of Steel joins the One:12 Collective.  

In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ice Cream Man creators W. Maxwell Prince and Martín Morazzo launched an online-only series of mini-comics set in the ICM universe. The collection of these stories, Ice Cream Man Presents: Quarantine Comix #1, will be available in print for the first time from Image Comics this September.

Five decades after the release of their landmark album, Morrison Hotel, The Doors and Z2 Comics announce a brand new graphic novel written by Leah Moore, daughter of the legendary Watchmen scribe Alan Moore, to be released on October 13.  

Oblivion Song #25 by Robert Kirkman (Fire Power, The Walking Dead), Lorenzo De Felici, and colorist Annalisa Leoni will kick off an exciting new story arc of the critically acclaimed series this July from Image/Skybound Entertainment. From notorious kink writer Tina Horn (Why Are People Into That?! podcast) and featuring a diverse group of artists, comes SfSx (Safe Sex), Vol. 1: Protection, a social thriller about sex, love, and torture. This first volume in the critically acclaimed, ongoing Image Comics series, will collect issues #1-7 into trade paperback this July.  

Twenty-two years after legendary rock band Pearl Jam debuted their Grammy Award-nominated “Do The Evolution” music video, its hypnotic and shocking imagery is perhaps even more relevant to social and environmental issues than during the band’s 1998 Yield tour.  

Actor Hartley Sawyer, who up to recently played Ralph Dibny The Elongated Man has been fired/let go from the CW hit show “The Flash” seems old tweets from as far back as 2012 have resurfaced of Mr. Sawyer making racist and misogynist remarks. Mr. Hartley went on to issue several statements about said Tweets… “I’m not here to make excuses – regardless of the intention, my words matter and they carry consequences,” Sawyer wrote in the post. “And mine can and have caused pain and embarrassment, along with feelings I can only imagine, to supporters and fans, my cast mates, the crew, my colleagues and friends. I owe them all an apology. And I owe each of you an apology....
