It should come as no surprise that when speaking about Bloivar Trask being involved in Days of Future Past that only one small ball of amazing should surface as the role. This actor is indeed Peter Dinklage. When this came to pass no one was surprised, however the second villain for the film has been announced and it comes in the form of the Vulture and is being played by Josh Helman.
Officer Downe, the original graphic novel created by Joe Casey (Man of Action) and artist Chris Burnham, is getting the feature film treatment with Slipknot’s Shawn “Clown” Crahan set to direct the Casey-penned script. The Man of Action/Image Comics title Officer Downe details the story of a brutal supercop who continually dies in the line of duty, only to be resurrected by his superiors and sent back onto the streets each and every time. Skip Williamson (producer, Underworld, Crank) and Mark Neveldine (director, Crank, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance) will produce the feature along with Casey, Man of Action. Slipknot manager Cory Brennan exec produces.
This year at Comic-Con, UDON will be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of legendary video game icon MEGA MAN in style, with the beautiful new art book MM25: MEGA MAN & MEGA MAN X OFFICIAL COMPLETE WORKS. Chronicling 25 years of the Mega Man series, the book will make its English-language debut at the UDON booth, #4529, in a beautiful Comic-Con exclusive blue laser foil hard cover edition!
Amazon has taken to the web and announced that the have sold out of launch day consoles due to the massive amount of pre-orders. In a post on Facebook, the company explained that Standard Editions will still be offered, but these are unlikely to arrive on release day. It’s unclear if more consoles will be stocked to the retailer as a result.
Congratulations to famed Metallica Lars Ulrich and his gorgeous super model girlfriend ahem…fiance, Jessica Miller. The two were seen meandering about Vegas this week in celebration of the engagement. Perhaps with the lack of material being put out by Metallica it’s about time that Lars decided to batten down the hatches because the excuse of work just isn’t there anymore.
So after investing so much time in the Infinity series a lot of us are sitting and questioning what will come next. Yesterday, Marvel Comics announced that the follow up to the series will be entitled “Inhuman” and will be a compilation of crafted word by Matt Fraction with cover art done by Joe Madureira.
When you see Captain America it is completely impossible to forget Hayley Atwell’s performance as the tough, distanced, and sexy Agent Carter. However, when her character is left in a different era when Cap is frozen only to be awakened in the future, fans thought that we were done with her and her beautiful face. Well, think again.
The Before Watchman ad campaign for the new series is going big. Not only is it going big, it’s going big in the big apple. Warner Brothers and DC have made sure that their advertisement for their new line will be displayed on the jumbotron in Times Square for all to see.
