GOATWHORE, who are currently leveling stages across the US on a Summer-long live tirade that includes a twenty-two date run on this year’s Summer Slaughter tour, will make their way to Europe this Fall/Winter supporting Dying Fetus. Set to commence on November 8th in Liege, Belgium, the epic trek will topple nearly four dozen metropolises, coming to a close on December 20th in Leer, Germany. Additional support will be provided by Malevolence and Fallujah.
Directly on the heels of EYEHATEGOD‘s month-long US headlining tour with Ringworm and Enabler, the New Orleans destroyers are back on the road already this week. Set to begin their new headlining trek tomorrow, July 10th, kicking the shit off in Washington, DC, after which they’ll raid Providence, Albany, York, Hamden and Brooklyn in a jagged Northeast strike.
The golden age of Hip Hop and the second wave of brutal metal bands kind of coincided in the late 80s-mid 90s, and we got some badass bands from it, and many now legendary Hip Hop artists (real artists, not this trash we have today. People with talent, not a computer). One of the bands that perfectly twisted these two influences was the OG Ice T fronted Body Count. They have a street pedigree that reads like a reap sheet, and they wear their influences on their sleeves like prison tats. The new release, Manslaughter, is absolutely no exception.
July 26th will mark the 20th anniversary of the release of Madballs classic album and first full-length, Set If Off. A fan favorite and defining album for New York Hardcore in the 90s, the title track is still a highpoint during every live Madball show. To celebrate this momentous occasion the band is announcing a special guest will be joining them for their performance at the This Is Hardcore fest in Philadelphia on July 27th. Matt Henderson guitarist from 92-01 (including on the Set It Off album) will be joining the group on-stage.
