Microsoft and 343 Industries in conjunction with new soundtrack partner 7Hz Productions, today announced the “Halo 4” Original Soundtrack (OST) produced by composer Neil Davidge of Massive Attack fame is now available online and in stores. The “Halo 4” Original Soundtrack, featuring 15 tracks and over 75 minutes of unique music, marks the first time a new composer has taken the reins for the iconic series’ musical score since the launch of the original “Halo” game more than a decade ago.
A&M/Octone recording artists Hollywood Undead return with their new single “We Are” from their forthcoming album Notes From The Underground. Greek symphonic metallers NIGHTFALL have completed work for their new album, Cassiopeia, which is set for release in January 2013 through Metal Blade Records. The recordings took place in four different places, a fragment process that which NIGHTFALL is quite familiar with. Vocals and keys were recorded in Greece (Soundflakes studios & Cyberia) while the drums were tracked in Germany in the Soundlodge studios. Guitars and bass were recorded in the U.S. in Nashville, Tennessee at Boomcave studios.
Apocryphon, the fourth album from The Sword attains the highest chart and sales debut of the band’s career this week debuting at number 17 on the Billboard Top 200 with over 16,800 units sold.
