Amanda Harvey Comic Book News, News

There is a lot of stigma attached to the name Superman for a lot of different reasons. In the last 2 years the former home of creator Joe Schuster in Glenville, Cleavland has had a driver attack his fence with their vehicle. This fence is no ordinary fence though. This fence has huge metal plates displaying the story of Action Comics #1, better known as the first appearance of Superman.
Seven pages have been destroyed or are missing, including a page that explains the link between the creation of Superman by Siegel and Shuster and the local area. Cleveland.com reports that Antwann Houston, 41, of Cleveland, has been charged with drink driving, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license. This is the second time a drunken driver has done this in 2 years. The damages this time allot to $2,600. It looks to me that the curse of Superman far surpasses that of just film production and creators. Even those who purchase houses from the creators are affected.
