So as a life long New Yorker, the number one thing that all us New Yorkers tend to do is stay away from Times Square…it’s a tourists dream come true and a New Yorkers worst nightmare. So it goes to say that right in the middle of all of that madness, tucked in a little corner is this amazing club/restaurant/performance area called The Iridium.
Ethereal techn death unit, WRVTH, will kick off a western US tour next month supporting headlining labelmates, Lord Of War. Set to embark on September 11th in Sacramento, California, The Ongoing Dissension Tour will raze seventeen stages in five states, coming to a close on September 27th, 2015 in Lancaster, California.
The Deftones played a top notch set in an excellent setting on August 5th, 2015 in Wantagh, NY, Jones Beach. Jones Beach concerts are among my favorite venues to see a concert. The shorelines constant breeze is one of the top perks of experiencing a show here. Open air and a waterside view are hard to pass up. On this night, the Deftones played to the sunset ripping away with their intensely dynamic sound. Aside from the bonuses of the venue, it was a pretty standard Deftones show.

Produced by Dave Otero (Allegaeon, Cephalic Carnage) at Flatline Audio in Denver, Colorado, The Anthropocene Extinction serves as CATTLE DECAPITATION‘s most sonically and thematically engrossing record of their maniacal discography.
Know who was a bad motherfucker? Chuck Schuldiner! And who was Chuck Schuldiner? The founding member, guitarist, and vocalist for the seminal “death” metal band, DEATH, who pioneered the style in the dense, humid Florida metal scene. And since his untimely passing due to cancerous formations, the genre has never been quite the same. UNTIL NOW. With their debut album, Savage Land, released earlier this year, GRUESOME (an amalgamation of Exhumed, Possessed, Malevolent Creation, and Derketa members who plowed a row of devastation on the Death To All tribute tours) picks up this heavy crown and was kind enough to allow Gus Rios (Gruesome drummer, ex Malevolent Creation) to answer some no doubt dumb questions!
