POP EVIL have announced Music Over Words Tour today that will serve as the official kickoff for their recently announced all-new self-titled LP. “It’s with great excitement to announce our US headline tour,” says vocalist Leigh Kakaty. “We can’t wait to play our new material and see all our amazing fans across the states. CLITERATI – the Portland, Oregon-grown hardcore punk unit featuring Poison Idea, Voetsek, and Murderess alumni – is pleased to unveil the visual accompaniment to “Burn,” taken from their self-titled EP. For the colorful clip, CLITERATI teamed up with Sign Of The Beast Burlesque for the film short Pizza Sluts as part of the Metalesque Fest, the world’s first and only festival dedicated to heavy metal and burlesque!
Minnesota-based Gabriel and the Apocalypse has just released its latest music video “March of the Dolls.” The track comes from the band’s new album The Ghost Parade. Front woman Lindy Gabriel says, “Unlike the previous music videos from GATA that portray a more theatrical story concept, ‘March of the Dolls’ showcases the band’s energetic and in-your-face live performances. Faith No More, best known for being an experimental alt. metal band of the 90’s, has just suffered a loss to its history, as former frontman Chuck Mosley has reported passed away at 57. Mosley, who was featured on the band’s first albums, We Care A Lot and Introduce Yourself, left the band in 1988 and spent time in Bad Brains and Cement following.
Arizona’s Gatecreeper are continuing to make a name for themselves this year, with being on an opening slot for Cannibal Corpse being an already huge honor.
