Ventura, California based Metal outfit NIGHT DEMON have proclaimed their epic return in 2017, which comes in the form of the band’s upcoming full length studio effort, Darkness Remains. The new album is the follow up to their debut record, Curse of the Damned, and is primed for an April 21st release on Century Media. In addition to the impending release of Darkness Remains, Night Demon is also pleased to announce that they will be embarking on a US tour supporting the venerable likes of Anvil. New Orleans’ Goatwhore is currently on the road with label-mates Whitechapel, Cattle Decapitation, Allegaeon, and Necromancing The Stone for a special trek that celebrates Metal Blade Records’ 35th anniversary – with added headlining dates scattered throughout. Following these shows, the band will take a short break before joining Amon Amarth for two weeks’ worth of dates from May 1st to May 21st. Due to scheduling conflicts between the two tours, Goatwhore will not appear on six of the Metal Blade Records’ 35th Anniversary Tour stops. See below for all dates.
Richmond, VA doom heavyweights WINDHAND have announced a new run of North American tour dates this coming May along with fellow Virginia based Satan’s Satyrs. The tour starts May 17th in Philadelphia and runs till May 25th. WINDHAND will also be on tour with this April with label mates Cough in Australia and New Zealand in addition to a short run of west coast dates.
