Italian Metal icons LACUNA COIL have announced that they will be joining Dutch Symphonic Metal giants EPICA on the North American leg of the band’s “Ultimate Principal” Tour. The month long September trek marks Lacuna Coil’s first US tour dates in over a year, as the band continues to support their latest full length studio effort, Delirium. Joining Lacuna Coil and Epica on the Ultimate Principal Tour are Insomnium & Elantris. Tickets go on sale on Friday, April 28th at 10am local time.

Swedish Melodic Death Metal innovators DARK TRANQUILLITY are pleased to announce their return to North American soil; this time taking form as a month long headlining tour. The multi-dimensional, progressive-rock band, Coheed and Cambria announced today that they will be touring the US this spring, performing their landmark third album, “Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness”, in its entirety. The tour, entitled NEVERENDER GAIBSIV, will take the band across North America commencing on April 11, and ending May 20, and including stops at the Hollywood Palladium; Aragon Theater in Chicago; and the Blues Hill Bank Pavilion in Boston. This year is quickly shaping up to be a year of thrash shows that are unbelievably stacked. We already went through Overkill and Nile, and we still have Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold this year, Slayer and Lamb of God, Megadeth and Meshuggah… There’s a lot coming out way and it’s only April. In midst of this, Testament and Sepultura have teamed up for a run across the states in support of Brotherhood of the Snake, an album that I enjoyed and, them being Testament, surely meant great things were in store, right? Especially with Sepultura opening, this hardly seemed like a show to pass up on.

This summer Metallica’s WorldWired tour hits stadiums across North America. The band has invited along special guests Avenged Sevenfold and openers Volbeat or Gojira to join them through out the summer.
