Front man Ville Valo offers, “After quarter of a century of Love and Metal intertwined we sincerely feel HIM has run its unnatural course and adieus must be said in order to make way for sights, scents and sounds yet unexplored. Long-running New York City-based noise merchants GNAW will lay waste to Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, New York later this month opening for BardSpec – the experimental side project featuring Enslaved’s Ivar Bjørnson and Today Is The Day’s Steve Austin – and IIVII, the intergalactic solo project featuring Josh Graham (A Storm Of Light, Battle Of Mice, Red Sparowes).

As previously announced, Paranormal features two songs written and recorded with the original members of the Alice Cooper band and also has guest appearances by ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons, U2 drummer Larry Mullen and Roger Glover of Deep Purple.

Multi-platinum and Grammy nominated hard rock group SALIVA announce headline dates for their summer Only the Sickest Survive tour. The first leg of the tour starts this week on June 7th in Ishpeming MI and hits cities East of the Mississippi. It ends on July 2nd in Jacksonville FL which is home base for members lead singer Bobby Amaru and bassist Brad Stewart – formerly of Shinedown and Fuel. Mortiis will present a live reinterpretation of the 1994 release Ånden Som Gjorde Opprør this fall at the Cold Meat Industry 30th Anniversary celebration in Stockholm. “I don’t just want to do the record as it was back in 1994, but rather excavate it from 1994 and drag it into the new light of the current world, while retaining the atmosphere of the original sound,” said Mortiis.
