Modern Thrash Metal trailblazers HAVOK will make their return to the states with a pair of US tours in the Summer and Fall. The band joins Metalcore titans Darkest Hour on the “Godless Prophets & The Migrant Flora” tour in July. Following this run, Havok is thrilled to be a part of the seventh annual “Metal Alliance” tour, which is led this year by Thrash legends Overkill and Crowbar.
Los Angeles-based Electronic Rock outfit 9ELECTRIC are pleased to share that they will be joining on for the remaining dates of Otep’s “Resistance” World Tour here in the states. The band’s first date on the tour is today (June 27th) in St. Paul, MN, with the tour concluding in Mesa, AZ at Club Red on July 5th. These new shows will see 9Electric continue to support their latest studio album, The Damaged Ones, which came out last summer on Another Century Records.
Organizers behind Chicago’s Riot Fest (September 15-17 at Douglas Park) unveiled the daily lineups for this year’s festival. Highlighting Friday night’s lineup is Nine Inch Nails, New Order, A Day to Remember, Vic Mensa and Ministry. Danzig joins in Saturday’s festivities alongside Queens of the Stone Age, Wu-Tang Clan, a DJ set from The Beastie Boys’ Mike D and At the Drive In.
