Cult Swedish death metallers DERANGED have revealed the first song from their upcoming new album, “Struck By A Murderous Siege”, due out on October 28th via Agonia Records.  

BUTCHER BABIES have announced that they will be hitting the road with the legendary Megadeth this Fall as part of the band’s Dystopia tour in North America. Also joining them will be Amon Amarth, Suicidal Tendencies, and Metal Church. The month long tour starts in Casper, WY on September 20 and concludes on October 16 in Camden, NJ. In addition to the tour, both Butcher Babies and Megadeth will be performing at this year’s “Ozzfest Meets Knotfest” event, which takes place on September 24 & 25 in San Bernardino, CA  

Katatonia is set to hit the road shortly in support of its tenth studio effort, The Fall of Hearts – a beautiful behemoth of desolate and dark forces, Katatonia’s latest offering was self-produced by its own Anders Nyström and Jonas Renkse.  

U.S. Progressive Metal pioneers FATES WARNING have confirmed their first touring run in Europe for their much acclaimed new album “Theories Of Flight”. The tour will be taking place in January/February 2017 and will feature Armored Dawn in the opening slot and one further band to be announced soon.  

California heavy metal band HUNTRESS kicks off the fall touring season with a string of headlining dates, a coveted slot on Ozzfest (September 24 in San Bernardino, CA) and as support for Trivium and Sabaton on a U.S. run in September and October.  

I’ve been going to shows for a few years now, and while I have gone to them amidst some controversy among bands (Mayhem Fest 2015 comes to mind) I have never even been met with any kind of complications that unfolded via the internet. It’s a strange time we live in, but this Belphegor show was met with problems that resulted in an attempt to state that the show itself was not happening. Clearly it did, and with most of the room packed, one could say it failed horribly.  

The year 2016 marks the 30th anniversary of the legendary New York Hardcore band SICK OF IT ALL. In order to celebrate this special occasion SICK OF IT ALL are releasing “When The Smoke Clears” on November 4th, 2016. Norway’s RAGNAROK have signed a new three album deal with Agonia Records, continuing the relationship that has so far seen the release of the Norwegian Black Metal veterans’ seventh and eighth full-length albums, “Malediction” in 2012 and “Psychopathology” in 2016 respectively, as well as the special edition retrospective “Chaos and Insanity Between 1994-2004”, which traces the first decade of the band’s history.
