Multi-platinum Atlantic recording artist, STAIND have announced they will mark the release of their new self-titled album by performing a special show in New York City to benefit the families of 9/11. The show will be held at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square on September 15th. In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of 9/11, tickets to the show will be priced at $9.11, with all revenue from the show to benefit the families of 9/11 victims.
Andy Whitfield, recent star of the Starz TV show Spartacus, has passed away. In March 2010, Whitfield was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, beginning treatment immediately in New Zealand.[10] This delayed production of season two of Spartacus: Blood and Sand.[10] Whitfield died of non-Hodgkin Lymphoma on 11 September 2011.
