This June, Marvel fans everywhere are invited to the HELLFIRE GALA! Running through 12 issues of your favorite X-Men titles, the HELLFIRE GALA will be a first-of-its-kind X-Men crossover that will reveal the status quo-shaking plans the X-Men have for the Marvel Universe. And this Wednesday, fans can get a first look at this highly-anticipated event with the HELLFIRE GALA GUIDE.  

Voïvod’s “Hypercube Sessions” began last August with a blazing live set from RadicArt studios, the studio where Voivod recorded their Juno award winning album The Wake, and continues with Voïvod’s “Hypercube Session 2”, where the band will be performing Nothingface for the first time ever on May 30th. The date also coincides with Michel “Away” Langevin’s Birthday! “Hypercube Session 3” will feature the classic Dimension Hatröss album and will stream on June 27th.

A ripple effect of buzz surrounding the issue’s gut-wrenching revelation sent a flurry of tongues wagging and readers not yet caught up on the series made a beeline to stores to find out what happened. Stray Dogs #3 inventory has sold-out completely at the distributor level and Image Comics has fast-tracked a reprint in order to keep up with reorders.

L.A. Guns, featuring Phil Lewis and Tracii Guns, have announced that they will release a new live album, “Cocked & Loaded Live” on July 9, 2021. As the title implies, the performance celebrates the band’s treasured second album, “Cocked & Loaded”. Fans can get their first taste of the performance with the track ‘Malaria’.  

On May 19th, award-winning writer Gene Luen Yang and rising star artist Dike Ruan continue their bold transformation of the Shang-Chi mythos in a brand-new ongoing series. To celebrate this exciting new chapter, SHANG-CHI #1-6 will have a collection of spectacular variant covers by renowned artist Michael Cho that foreshadow the epic brawls that await readers in each issue!

Free Comic Book Day 2021 will be celebrated at your local comic shop on August 14th, and this year Marvel Comics will release two Free Comic Book Day titles, each containing two separate stories. These exciting tales will provide perfect entry points for new readers to the thrilling ongoing sagas of the Avengers, Spider-Man, Venom, and the Hulk and give comic fans their first glimpse at the exciting new eras for their favorite characters. These issues will shape the Marvel Universe as we know it with direct connections to the year’s biggest upcoming storylines.  

July will see the beginning of a new arc in Donny Cates’ acclaimed run on THOR titled “Revelations.” Teaming up with Cates for this new storyline will be guest artist Michele Bandini (King in Black: Spider-Man), filling in for regular series artist Nic Klein who will return for the next arc. Seen on the jawdropping new cover by legendary Thor artist Olivier Coipel and colorist Matt Wilson, “Revelations” will pack plenty of surprises, including an explosive fight between Thor and Captain America.

Emmy award-nominated actress Emilia Clarke will be releasing a comic series coming from Image coming called M.O.M: Mother of Madness. The story follows Maya, who is a scientist and single mother during the day but a superhero at night. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly Emilia said “We’re always calling mothers superheroes, and I’m like, what if they were? What if they legitimately were superheroes?” She also said “Maya has had a very hard life, and she finds herself in a place where everything that makes her unique, she hates and is ashamed about. It’s only in the discovery of her powers that she finds her true acceptance of who she is.” This will be a three-issue series that... 

This July, IDW invites readers of all ages to enjoy a centennial celebration with My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic #100, the sensational super-sized anniversary issue full of frolicking fillies and mysterious menace!
