Earlier this week, we announced CONVERGENCE, the upcoming, two-month comic book event that promises to rock the DC Multiverse to its very core. Comprised of a nine-part weekly comic book series written by TV writer Jeff King and Dan Jurgens and drawn by Carlo Pagulayan, Stephen Segovia and Ethan Van Sciver, as well as 40 distinct, two-part miniseries written and drawn by some of the most exciting creators in comics, it’s an event told at an unprecedented scale.  

Vocalist Karl Agell, who sang on CORROSION OF CONFORMITY’s 1991 seminal Blind full-length and founding drummer Reed Mullin will perform the LP in its entirety on Sunday, November 9th at the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, North Carolina. The concert is a benefit show for Katherine Ludwig, former editor of long-running heavy metal magazine, Metal Maniacs, who is currently battling non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.  

SOVEREIGN, a new graphic novel from Image Comics, is a lush, dark fantasy slated for publication in December. Long Island’s explosive technical metal quartet CAR BOMB has been declared as direct support for the mighty Meshuggah on their upcoming 25 Years Of Musical Deviance Tour in Europe this December. The six-city run, from December 12th through 21st, will see the bands inundating venues in Switzerland, Italy, Holland, France, England and Germany, which when combined, will surely deliver one of the most damaging metal tours of the season. Additional support will come from Semantik Punk.
