Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, poet, political activist and System Of A Down front man Serj Tankian has announced an international tour with his solo band, The FCC. The October tour kicks off in London on 10/2 and stops in Germany, Holland, Italy, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg and the Czech Republic before wrapping up back in Berlin. Rock the Resort kicked off on Friday with three great performances, raising the bar very high for those to follow. Day two featured a longer lineup: Adelitas Way, Finger Eleven, Buckcherry, and Hinder. Adelitas Way started the evening off early, opening with The Collapse from their album Home School Valedictorian. Although they were up first, I would not even consider calling them an opening act. Clay’s Park brought the rock to Ohio this past weekend with its’ second annual Rock the Resort festival. Campers spent their days enjoying the sun in the resort’s water park followed by a night of music. Cavo kicked off the festival on Friday, currently on tour in support of their new album, Thick as Thieves. The park filled up throughout their set, which consisted of a combination of their own material as well as covers.
