Ferret Music recording group The Devil Wears Prada and Metal Blade Records’ As I Lay Dying have announced details of their upcoming North American co-headline tour.  The hugely anticipated trek gets underway February 22nd at Ventura, California’s Majestic Ventura Theater Half House and then continues through early April (see attached itinerary).  Tickets for all dates will be on sale Friday, December 21st.

Further exploring the deep mythology that’s made the Kings of Rock hold dual citizenship as Kings of Comics, this year, The-Four-Who-Are-One must take up arms alone against a slew of dynamic enemies and evil forces.  

Hollywood Undead have now released the official music video for the first single, “We Are,” off their upcoming album Notes From The Underground out January 8th (A&M/Octone). The video is directed by Slipknot’s M.Shawn Crahan (aka clown), and USA today labeled the song as “an anthem for disenfranchised youth.”  

French death/black metal band SVARTCROWN has entered St Marthe studio (Kickback, Hangman’s Chair, Arkhon Infautus) to begin the recording process for the band’s forthcoming third full-length album.

Death Metal powerhouse DYING FETUS have announced that they will be hitting the road in in January of 2013 alongside Hatebreed, Shadows Fall and The Contortionist as part of “The Divinity of Purpose Tour”. The tour will kick off January 26th in Flint, MI and will wrap up February 17th in Amityville, NY.  

Metallica announced today that they have taken ownership of all their master recordings including all music and long form videos, a move almost unprecedented for musicians signed to recording contracts.  Under provision of their renegotiated joint venture agreement with the Warner Music Group in 1994, all masters revert back to the band as of today, November 30, 2012.
