Legendary rock band Rush has unveiled details of its highly anticipated, new album, “CLOCKWORK ANGELS.”   This is the renowned trio’s first new collection of original material in over five years and their first studio release via Anthem/Roadrunner records. “CLOCKWORK ANGELS,” the band’s 20th studio album, will be released on June 12th (see attached track listing). The recording of “CLOCKWORK ANGELS” began in April 2010 with Grammy Award winning producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Deftones) – who also collaborated with the band on their last studio album, 2007’s “SNAKES & ARROWS.”  Rush co-produced both records.  The first two songs, “Caravan” and “BU2B,” were completed... 

Female-fronted extremists WYKKED WYTCH are set to hit the road as part of  the Maximum Cavalera 15th Anniversary North American Tour with SOULFLY, INCITE and LODY KONG this week. The tour gets underway on April 13th in Colorado Springs, CO and will keep the band on the road until the final date in Albuquerque, NM on May 11th. Dates in Wilmington, NC, Dallas, TX and Lubbock, TX have recently been added. Hard rock outfit Buckcherry will be hitting the road this spring on a headlining tour beginning on April 21st in San Antonio, TX. The band will be joined by American Idol alumnus, James Durbin and Redlight King for a North American jaunt throughout over 30 cities.  

BONDED BY BLOOD are due to kick off a North American tour tonight with Canadian all-girl metal band KITTIE. Legendary death metal legion SIX FEET UNDER today unveil the first single from forthcoming studio offering, Undead. Slated for North American release on May 22, 2012 through Metal Blade Records, the 12-track recording was produced by Mark Lewis (Deicide, Devildriver) and mixed by Jason Suecof (Whitechapel, Job For A Cowboy), at Audio Hammer Studios in Sanford, Florida.  

Columbia, SC hard-rockers Crossfade have announced a summer headlining tour beginning June 1st in Knoxville, TN through July 1st in Charlotte, NC in support of the band’s emotionally charged new single “Dear Cocaine,” soon to be released. Crossfade will be joined by fellow Columbia band Weaving the Fate, as well as Candlelight Red from Williamsport, PA.  

Arizona metal militia TOAD has returned to its homeland of Phoenix after a two-week migration through the Rocky Mountains and across the southern United States. To say TOAD’s journey was a success would be an understatement. Old friends were revisited, new allies were formed, and TOAD’s rotten gospel was delivered on a nightly basis to receptive congregations. Upon their return to the desert, TOAD immediately delved back into the writing process in preparation for the next album.

P.O.D. has completed work on Murdered Love, its first new studio album in four years. Due out this summer, Murdered Love is the band’s long-awaited follow-up to When Angels & Serpents Dance.   Murdered Love sees the band reunited with long-time producer Howard Benson who also produced the band’s massive Satellite album alongside hit albums for Kelly Clarkson, Theory Of A Deadman, Daughtry, The All American Rejects, and My Chemical Romance.  

Candlelight Records today confirms June 19 as the North American release date for Eremita, the anticipated fourth album from Norwegian-born vocalist/guitarist IHSAHN. Recorded and produced at Telemark’s Ivory Shoulder Studios, with additional tracking completed at Notodden’s Juke Joint Studio and Seattle’s Envisage Audio, Eremita was mixed by Jens Bogren (Opeth) at Fascination Street Studios in Orebo, Sweden.
