San Diego’s legendary rock outfit Unwritten Law will be going on tour with long-time friends and fellow punk rockers Pennywise from September 30 to November 19,  hitting markets across the US including, New York City, Atlanta, and San Francisco. The group will be promoting their most recent album Acoustic via Cyber Tracks. Tourmates include Strung Out and Runaways Kids.  

Grammy® Award-winning band Ghost have declared the arrival of a new EP entitled Popestar, available today online and in record stores on CD, vinyl, and digital via Loma Vista Recordings. The surprise five-track offering features leading psalm “Square Hammer”, a new original track which was debuted earlier in the week on Sirius XM’s OCTANE as part of a week long global rollout.  

In addition to her prolific music catalog OTEP is also famous for her thought provoking, spoken word performances.  So much so in fact she is consiered a DEF POETRY ALL STAR, as she has appeared on Russell Simmons’ DEF POETRY on HBO.    

The highly-anticipated, genre-bending crypto-noir series THE BLACK MONDAY MURDERS by Jonathan Hickman (EAST OF WEST, Secret Wars, Avengers) and Tomm Coker (Undying Love) launched to critical-acclaim and overwhelming fan enthusiasm. New Jersey’s progressive metal masters, SYMPHONY X, are making a few special stops on their way to Japan’s Loud Park Festival. The 6 show trek will launch on September 29th at The Trocadero, hit 3 Canadian cities and conclude on October 5th at The Gramercy Theatre.

Metallica’s Kirk “Von” Hammett has stepped out in advance of the November ​​​​​​​release of Eerie Von’s forthcoming Misfits/Samhain/ Danzig photo book MISERY OBSCURA: The Photography of Eerie Von (1981–2009) to sing the book’s praises:

In Dying Arms is delivering a powerful message with their new video for “Blackwater”. The song itself shows the struggle of suicidal thoughts and feeling like one is dealing with life by themselves. The band wanted to stay true to the meaning of the song with the video and show fans that they are not alone. Vocalist Orion Stephens explains, “The Blackwater music video is about suicide contemplation with this character who has hit rock bottom and believes this is his only way out. In this video, we wanted it to look as real as possible with a very grim realistic setting.   

Fueled By Ramen has announced the signing of widely acclaimed Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK.  The landmark deal will see ONE OK ROCK releasing their as-yet-untitled new album at the top of 2017.
