While it certainly seems an unlikely title for a black metal band, its origin might surprise fans even more than the words themselves. “It’s a verse from the Bible,” Nergal reveals. “It’s actually a quote from Jesus Christ himself. For Behemoth to use it as the basis of our record, it’s sacrilege to the extreme.” A crushing salvo of black metal majesty replete with hellish riffs, thundering drum cannonades and soaring...

2018 marks the 20th anniversary of Lacuna Coil’s debut. To celebrate this special year, the band will be releasing “The 119 Show – Live In London” DVD. The special one-time live recording was filmed at the band’s exceptional show on January 19 in London at the O2 Forum Kentish Town and is scheduled for release November 9th, 2018. Louisiana based rockers AKADIA have announced summer show dates that will take them through several venues this summer in support of their new single “Turn Away.” Akadia will kick off the tour at the Inkcarceration Music and Tattoo Festival in Mansfield Ohio July 13-15 with Akadia burning up the stage on July 14 at 1:30 pm. An official music video for the single has recently premiered and is gaining awareness.

Los Angeles based Nu-Metal band Dirty Machine has released the official music video for their single, “Further From You.” Directed and edited by Ron Underwood from 9Electric, “Further From You” was produced by Ulrich Wild (Deftones, Static-X, Pantera, White Zombie, Breaking Benjamin, Limp Bizkit) and was mastered by Gentry Studer (Incubus, Deftones, 36 Crazyfist, American Head Charge, Otep).
