On February 24th, Six Feet Under returns with their 12th studio album, Torment, and a new leap in intensity. There’s plenty of classic Six Feet Under groove to be had on Torment, but fans will note a much more aggressive approach, and even more blast beats throughout. This is a cantankerous Six Feet Under with absolutely nothing to prove. This is Six Feet Under at their most deadly.

Sweden’s musical alchemists, OPETH have debuted a new video for their song “Era” today. The video’s track is featured on the band’s critically praised, 12th studio album, Sorceress, which is available for purchase at www.opeth.com/stores from Moderbolaget Records/Nuclear Blast Entertainment.

The spanish metal band We All Fall premieres the video for “Chlidren Of The Grave”, the Black Sabbath classic. The band has released a statement on the matter:

I wrote in my Ophidian Spell review that I love watching a band rise from humble beginnings. To restate what I’ve said, I’ve been lucky to watch Nails, Ghost, and a few others start from a single Facebook page and demo early demos to the juggernauts they are in the wider spectrum of heavy music. Omnium Gatherum, one of Finland’s quintessential melo death bands, are no newcomers to the genre, but with the release of Grey Heavens, it seems they’re finally getting an ever-increasing amount of attention.

Following the 2015 Sensory Records release of their debut album, The Great Lie, France’s epic metal opera collective, MELTED SPACE, has issued special remixed versions of several tracks from the album through a new digital EP, titled Remix Remodel, which is now streaming Additionally, an official video for the revamped version of the track “Titania” has been completed, and is playing.

Last month, Swedish blues rock collective CAPTAIN CRIMSON released their delightfully riff-laden Remind full-length via Small Stone. A genuine testament to the timeless power of groove and of memorable choruses that take you back to when you felt such things deep in your soul, CAPTAIN CRIMSON manifest the kind of rock and roll that speaks to the essence of the form. In commemoration of its release, Decibel is pleased to bring fans the visual companion to Remind; the super boogie, road rager “Love Street“.

Swedish atmospheric post-rock/doom metal visionaries with ambient and electronic fangs, THE MOTH GATHERER, premiere a new music video for the song “Probing The Descent Of Man”, taken from their last year’s album “The Earth Is The Sky” released on Agonia Records.

Five Finger Death Punch has unveiled the video for their next single “I Apologize,” worldwide on Vevo today. Culled from their sixth studio album, Got Your Six, the chilling clip follows Ivan Moody through a cemetery housing our era’s most notable deceased rock icons, ranging from Elvis to Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse to Jimi Hendrix. The clip was shot at Los Angeles’ famed Angelus Rosedale Cemetery with Nathan Cox directing the band-conceived storyline.

There comes a point every year where an album is released and instantly the metal community (somehow) all agrees that it is, in fact, good. Normally, come December, this album gets thrown onto everyone’s Best Of lists, and we see websites and magazines give the band awards for such a crowning achievement. As such, this year it is Inter Arma who are falling into that category with Paradise Gallows, and immediately it’s realizable that this album is going to be a wild ride from start to finish, both critically and musically.

The Melvins, who wrapped up their latest European tour over the weekend, debut a video for “Hideous Woman” (https://youtu.be/UGhK4m-frkQ) from their recently released album, Basses Loaded (Ipecac Recordings).
