Today, multi-platinum, four-time GRAMMY-nominated rock band Goo Goo Dolls have announced they will release the deluxe edition of their acclaimed 12th studio record Miracle Pill on July 10th, 2020 via Warner Records. In addition to the smash title song “Miracle Pill” and the band’s latest single “Fearless”, the special album will deliver three never-before-heard tracks including “Just A Man,” a powerful & lush new song that was written and recorded in London with producers Martin Slattery and Antony Genn (The Hours).  

Valkyrie, the Rockbridge County, Va. band who MetalSucks said “have riffs tailor made for the big wide open: mountainous, thunderous, booming and earth-shaking,” have released a second song from the quartet’s forthcoming album, Fear (July 24, Relapse Records), debuting the track “The Choice”  

September 2019 saw melodic death metal juggernaut, The Agonist, release their sixth studio album, Orphans, via Rodeostar Records.  With Orphans the band delivered their most extreme, melodic, and larger-than-life sounding record to date.</  

Rage are back from the Corona crisis with a double bang: as had already been rumoured behind the scenes, guitarist Marcos Rodriguez has left the band. To replace him, vocalist/bassist Peavy Wagner has welcomed two new stringsmen to the Rage fold. New addition Stefan Weber (ex-Axxis) was introduced to the public at the METAL HAMMER online show in early May, now the band has presented its second new member, Jean Bormann (formerly Angelic, Rage & Ruins).  

On June 26th, Sweden’s Falconer will release their new album, From A Dying Ember, via Metal Blade Records. For a preview of From A Dying Ember, the new single, “Kings and Queens”

On August 21, 2020, 30 years to the day after its initial launch, thrash/metal-masters Anthrax will celebrate with the release of the deluxe anniversary edition of their fifth studio album, the Gold-certified Persistence of Time, produced by Anthrax and Mark Dodson  (Megaforce).    

Last week, Sorcerer digitally released their third full-length, Lamenting of the Innocent, via Metal Blade Records worldwide (the album is physically available in the USA now, with a new June 5th physical street date in Europe). Italian melodic death/epic metal band Gigantomachia released the “Immortal” single and lyric video.  

German metal act DUST BOLT have just released a beautiful, aesthetically pleasing new video for their emotional single “Exit”, off the 2016 album Mass Confusion. DUST BOLTaddresses a rather important topic with “Exit”: one’s own mental health. Everyone suffers from mental health issues from time to time, some more than others. Especially under the circumstances we are currently living in, social distancing becomes a mostly overseen social problem.  

It is abundantly clear that right now, music lovers around the world are craving the return of live concert experiences. This summer, legendary heavy metal frontman, actor and radio personality DEE SNIDER has just the thing to keep live music where it belongs – with the fans!
