The first thing I will say about The Dark Knight Rises is “Don’t Believe the Hype”. This movie is not epic, ground breaking, one of the greatest movies of all time, as the critics would have you believe. This movie reminds me a bit of The God Father III, the immensely flawed finally in The Godfather Trilogy.
Comic heads were all abuzz this weekend with the new Marvel unleashed at this years San Diego Comic Con. The big surprise was the announcement of The Guardians Of The Galaxy coming in 2014. This is a somewhat of a surprise as Disney/Marvel will be taking somewhat of a a risk on a very limited known property in the Marvel Universe. The saving grace is the tie in value to super baddie THANOS. Other tent pole properties announced were Captain America: Winter Soldier, Iron Man 3 and Ant-Man.
