Vertigo, the innovative, boundary-pushing imprint of DC Entertainment, will collaborate with Mad Max: Fury Road director, producer and co-writer George Miller on two upcoming projects based on the film. The first is a Deluxe Edition hardcover entitled MAD MAX: FURY ROAD: INSPIRED ARTISTS, in which sixty-five top artists will create art inspired by the world of Mad Max: Fury Road. Sony Pictures Entertainment and Marvel Studios announced today that Sony is bringing Marvel into the amazing world of Spider-Man. Rumor has it for a while that Sony pictures, owners of the rights to the Spider-Man movie franchise, and Marvel were in talks about Spidey appearing in one or more up-coming Marvel movies, most likely Captain America: Civil War. Talks seemed to break down some months ago, but recently started up again as the Spider-Man franchise has recently been under performing.
