The greatest wedding in Marvel Comics history is almost here! Just in time for the Fantastic Four’s 60th Anniversary, the latest arc in writer Dan Slott and artist R.B. Silva’s thrilling run on Fantastic Four will kick off in FANTASTIC FOUR #32.  

Joe Cornish will be directing an adaptation of Mark Millar’s comic, Starlight. Starlight follows the story of hero Duke McQueen who is who saved the universe. When he returns to Earth, no one believes his story. Years later in his older years, he is called on once again for one final mission. Deadline reports that Joe Cornish will be writing and directing the film under 20th Century Studios and will be produced by Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon.  

The second volume of popular pirate adventure series A Man Among Ye hits the high seas this Summer thanks to writer Stephanie Phillips (Harley Quinn) and a new interior artist to the team, Josh George (2000AD Future Shock, Grimm Tales of Terror). A Man Among Ye #5 begins this new story arc this July from Image/Top Cow.  

The dreams and nightmarish realities of Stephen King and Owen King’s bestselling novel captivate in IDW‘s upcoming Sleeping Beauties Vol. 1, the first of two full-color hardcover graphic novels courtesy of author Rio Youers (The Forgotten Girl), artist Alison Sampson (Winnebago Graveyard), and colorist Triona Tree Farrell, releasing April 20th.  

Well, there it is. There’s the episode we’ve been waiting for. If we had any doubts about who John Walker was before, that’s all cleared up now. If you haven’t watched the show yet, I would stop reading now because there will be spoilers this point forward. I had mentioned in one of my reviews that we hadn’t seen the zealot of John Walker yet and boy was I in for a rude awakening. We knew it had to be coming, but I wasn’t expecting it to be so… violent. Speaking of violence, this show has had way more violence in it than I’ve expected out of a Marvel/Disney franchise. I’m not complaining. I think it goes hand in hand with the content and theme they’re trying... 

Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment will launch a five-issue, limited comic book series, SKYBOUND X. This exciting comic event will feature iconic characters such as THE WALKING DEAD’S Rick Grimes, TELLTALE’S THE WALKING DEAD’s Clementine, and more Skybound favorites. Heavy hitter creators including Robert Kirkman, Ryan Ottley, Tillie Walden, Donny Cates, Joshua Williamson, Chip Zdarsky, James Harren, and Daniel Warren Johnson will contribute stories from the best Skybound series past, present, and future.  

Issue #6 of the breakout bestselling series Radiant Black by Kyle Higgins and Marcelo Costa will treat fans to a special one-shot, in-universe story featuring the artwork of legendary David “Darko” Lafuente (Ultimate Spider-man, Superman) and guest co-writer Cherish Chen. Radiant Black #6 is set to hit shelves from Image Comics this July.  

The trailer for Jupiter’s Legacy has dropped. The show will be airing on Netflix and it is an adaptation of Mark Millar and Frank Quitely’s graphic novels. The comics were originally released by Image Comics in 2013. The show will premiere on May 7th and follows the lives of superheroes who have aged out and need to hand over the reins to a new set of heroes. The show will star Josh Duhamel as Sheldon Sampson, Andrew Horton playing Sam’s son Brandon, and Elena Kampouris playing Sam’s daughter Chloe.  

Skybound Entertainment has announced they will be doing charity variant covers for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. All of the proceeds from these covers will go to CCED which is a volunteer organization based out of Los Angeles. The organization’s focus is on organization, education, and mutual help.
