July will see the beginning of a new arc in Donny Cates’ acclaimed run on THOR titled “Revelations.” Teaming up with Cates for this new storyline will be guest artist Michele Bandini (King in Black: Spider-Man), filling in for regular series artist Nic Klein who will return for the next arc. Emmy award-nominated actress Emilia Clarke will be releasing a comic series coming from Image coming called M.O.M: Mother of Madness. The story follows Maya, who is a scientist and single mother during the day but a superhero at night. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly Emilia said “We’re always calling mothers superheroes, and I’m like, what if they were? What if they legitimately were superheroes?” She also said “Maya has had a very hard life, and she finds herself in a place where everything that makes her unique, she hates and is ashamed about.
