Image’s series of guest variants for IMAGE UNITED continues this February with a cover by Pitt creator Dale Keown. The all-new image will adorn the third issue of the six-issue miniseries by Image’s founders and will be available both in color and in black and white.  

Yup, were still pumping out video interviews from the Planet Hulk DVD premiere in NYC. Here is Matt Striker, who was the host and master of ceremonies for the event.

So the big green guy had his bi-coastal premiere today. Metalmachine.net was at The Paley Center in NYC for the premiere of The Planet Hulk DVD coming February 2nd from Marvel and Lionsgate.  

Word out of Hollywood is that Daniel Craig will be taking the lead roll in the movie Cowboys and Aliens. Robert Downey JR. was slated to star in the up coming graphic novel to movie adaptation, but decided to bail for the sequel to Sherlock Holmes.  

Just in time for the ninth annual Free Comic Book Day, Image Comics is releasing Image Firsts: a line of titles re-presenting ten key first issues as an introduction to Image’s most acclaimed titles. Priced at only a dollar, each first issue serves as the perfect primer to their ongoing series and collected editions, including THE WALKING DEAD, SPAWN, CHEW, INVINCIBLE, AGE OF BRONZE and many more.  

Hey all you Kick Ass fans. A new trailer was just released for the movie, which comes out in April and will have its debut screening at SxSW. Buzz is so strong on this film that the upcoming Sylvester Stallone film The Expendables is bwing pushed to June by Lionsgate, to give room for the boom of Kick Ass!  

So, it seems that reports coming out of Hollywood say that actor Stuart Townsend (Queen Of The Damned, Night Stalker) has left the production of Thor over “creative differences”, slated to begin filming Monday the 11th. Townsend has been replaced by newcomer Joshua Dallas.  

Kicking off the New Year with a special double-dose of STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS, General Grievous emerges from the shadows to stir up trouble for the Jedi heroes, ensnaring them in a trap that threatens their mission and their lives. It’s a deadly game – and the scheming Separatist cyborg doesn’t plan on playing by the rules! It’s a full hour of all-new CLONE WARS thrills, beginning with “Grievous Intrigue,” at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT Friday, January 1 on Cartoon Network.  

Various reports have stated that Marvel and Paramount have decided to move the feature Thor to May 4th 2011. Reports state that since Sony has delayed production of Spiderman 4, which was to bow on May 6th 2011, Marvel decided to take that slot for the Thor feature. Thor was also slated to go head to head with DC/WB’s Green Lantern feature.  

Halo Legends, an all-new, CG and traditional anime PG-13 experience that presents enthralling new stories from one of the world’s most popular video game franchises, will be distributed February 16, 2010 by Warner Home Video as a Special Edition 2-disc version on DVD and Blu-Ray™, as well as single disc DVD, On Demand and Digital Download.
