Following the immediate success of MTV’s newest hit show Teen Wolf, Top Cow Productions and MTV Comics are presenting a three issue comics series based on the show that will hit store shelves and digital platforms soon. When the new comic book series was announced at Comic-Con International in San Diego, the fans of Teen Wolf swarmed Top Cow’s booth for the exclusive preview of the comic and stood in line for hours waiting to meet the cast and creators of their newest favorite teen horror drama.  

He has generated $2.6 billion in worldwide box office grosses, countless millions in toy and merchandise sales and survived not one, but two battles with a homicidal maniac. What’s more, he’s not done yet.  

Long Beach Comic Con, October 29 and 30 will be the only scheduled Southern California convention appearances by Aspen Comics, BOOM! Studios, IDW and Top Cow for the rest of the year.  

Andy Whitfield, recent star of the Starz TV show Spartacus, has passed away. In March 2010, Whitfield was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, beginning treatment immediately in New Zealand.[10] This delayed production of season two of Spartacus: Blood and Sand.[10] Whitfield died of non-Hodgkin Lymphoma on 11 September 2011.  

Stan Lee’s POW! Entertainment and 1821 Comics announced today that they will debut Romeo and Juliet: The War at New York Comic Con.  

So, another week passes and another batch of DC Comics hits the retail market. So what does the new DC 52 mean to the comic book industry and to a larger extent the pop culture world? DC Comics release of their recent and upcoming #1’s has taken the comic book world by storm. Is this good for comic books and is it good for DC Comics?
