It should come as no surprise that Marvel is attempting to get their hands in whatever franchises that they can. What we can be shocked about is that Perfumes and Colognes are no longer for failing musicians and television stars. It was announced this week that some of your favorite superheroes, including Stan Lee, can not only be read, but worn.  

In the wake of this line springing upon us, it’s over, technically. Although Age of Ultron #10 alludes that it will be continuing with a mass battle looming the line itself is done. The anticlimactic nature of this hyped up book was a flop in critics and fans eyes. Way to go Bendis, keep your hands out of things we love next time.

Yesterday press got a sneak peak at what’s to come in The New 52 line with Trinity of Sin: Pandora #2. Mikel Janin has crafted some serious characters for this line. They come in the form of Giganta and Vandal Savage, who are two members of the Secret Society on the hunt for Pandora and her dreaded box. Daniel Sampere is responsible for the artwork through the pages which is simply amazing.

Cartoon Network has finally out a release date on their highly anticipated Beware of the Batman animated series. It will premiere on Saturday, July 13 at 10 a.m. (ET/PT) as part of DC Nation.

DC comics will be putting out a Superman/Wonder Woman title. This title will be written by Charles Soule, the creator of Swamp Thing, and the art will be done by Tony Daniel. This comic will pay tribute to two of the most beloved and renowned comic book heroes and their ever changing and developing relationship. The comic will air early this upcoming October.

The Weinstein Co./Dimension Films has announced that they are pushing the released date for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For to August 22nd 2014. This is the second installment of the comic based film directed by Robert Rodriguez. The film was slated to open in October of this year.

Tom Taylor, the writer of the hit game Injustice: Gods Among Us has been recruited to write Earth 2. DC comics leaked the news to MTV Geek last week that James Robinson has stepped down as lead writer for the highly successful series and that Taylor would in fact be replacing him.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Warner Bros are going to be releasing Man of Steel for release in 2014. This means that they will be looking to start the new movie within the next year. There are also rumors that the Justice League will be airing in 2015. This mean wonders in the world of Warner Brothers/DC expanded universes considering they have fallen behind in the race with Marvel.

Whedon has announced that Tom Hiddeston who plays Loki will not be in the sequel of Avengers. He made this announcement on Empire Podcast earlier this week.
