Salt Lake City-based heavy rock duo EAGLE TWIN have completed their anticipated sophomore LP and are preparing to devastate forward-thinking riff-seekers once again in 2012.  

Chevelle returned to New York City last night in support of their latest release, Hats off to the Bull. Opening the sold out show were Janus, and Middle Class Rut. Janus played a decent set, but it was nothing compared to their headlining show.

In exactly 4 months the Epic Metal masters of MANILLA ROAD will headline the Friday night of the Warriors Of Metal Fest V Open Air on June 29th at the Frontier Ranch in Pataskala, Ohio (just 20 minutes East of Columbus, OH). Candlelight Records today confirms June 5 as the North American release date for FEAR FACTORY’s new album, The Industrialist. Produced by the band with Rhys Fulber (Front Line Assembly), the album was mixed by Greg Reely (Paradise Lost/Skinny Puppy/Machine Head). It features additional tracking by Logan Mader (Gojira/Divine Heresy/Five Finger Death Punch) and artwork by Anthony Clarkson (Devin Townsend).  

Unholy Exaltation of Fullmoon Perversity from Portland-based trio WEREGOAT (featuring members of Ritual Necromancy, Aldeberan and more) is now available through Dark Descent Records. Death metal goliaths JOB FOR A COWBOY will unleash their brand new studio recording entitled Demonocracy this Spring. Set for North American release on April 10, 2012 via Metal Blade Records, the nine-track Demonocracy was produced by Jason Seucof (Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel, Trivium) who recorded the band’s blistering Ruination full-length, at Audiohammer Studios, and features another strikingly detailed concept cover by artist Brent Elliott White.  

California goregrind maniacs EXHUMED are infinitely pleased to be added to this year’s Summer Slaughter Festival lineup! While the festival’s full schedule and routing are still to be announced, the band are confirmed to share the stage with headliners Cannibal Corpse as well as Between The Buried And Me, Goatwhore and The Faceless.
