The Induction Ceremony took place onstage during the band’s live performance. Hall of Heavy Metal History Founder/CEO Pat Gesualdo, was joined onstage by Legendary journalist/author Martin Popoff to induct the band.

Today, Perry Farrell released his first new album in over a decade, Kind Heaven, on BMG. The record, co-produced by Farrell and Bowie collaborator Tony Visconti, features contributions from Dhani Harrison, Elliot Easton (The Cars), Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), Etty Lau Farrell, and more, along with Hollywood composer Harry Gregson-Williams.

Omaha based hard rock quartet, Through Fire, have today announced the release date for their second studio album. Titled ‘All Animal’, the 11 track rager will be dropping on July 19th via Sumerian Records. Revered vocal powerhouse SEBASTIAN BACH will celebrate the 30th anniversary of SKID ROW’s acclaimed, self-titled breakout debut album with a U.S. Tour where he’ll be performing the record in its entirety plus other songs from his celebrated catalog. Malta’s death metallers BEHEADED, who are on the verge of releasing their sixth studio album “Only Death Can Save You”, will play as direct support to Poland’s HATE on a tour of Europe slated for August. The band also announced a number of extra dates and summer festivals in support of the album, including but not limited to: Motocultor Festival (FR), Party San Open Air (GER), Deathfest Open Air (GER) and a show in London (UK) alongside Incantation. “Only Death Can Save You” will be out on Agonia Records on June 14th.

Southern rock outfit BASK, whose Americana sound contains a unique blend of psych and prog influences, will kick off their June U.S. tour tomorrow, May 31, at Doomed and Stoned Fest in Chicago, IL.
