One of the most-aired hard rock bands on MTV during the late ’80s and early ’90s was Winger, a band who had it all – expert chops, chart success, arena tours, etc. And now for the first time ever, the band’s best-selling albums will be compiled together in the new box set, Chapter One: Atlantic Years 1988-1993 – which will be released on November 17, 2023 via Atlantic/BMG, and will be available as both vinyl and CD versions.
Multi-Platinum rock band Puddle of Mudd drops their new album Ubiquitous via Pavement Entertainment. The release is the band’s seventh studio album, which features eleven new songs that have the signature, hard-hitting sound that Puddle of Mudd is known for, as well as a fresh take on their unique style. Ubiquitous is the subsequent album to 2019’s Welcome to Galvania, which featured the Billboard chart-topping hit “Uh Oh.”
New Orleans’ favorite extreme metal alchemists, GOATWHORE, today confirm another US live takeover! The Fall headlining run, which commences on November 3rd in Little Rock, Arkansas, will wind its way through twenty cities through the Northeast, Southeast, and Midwest, drawing to a close on November 26th in Pensacola, Florida. Support will be provided by Withered and Spiter. The journey follows the band’s tour supporting Eyehategod, currently underway.
Sevendust is set to releas eanother piece of music for fans. Truth Killer – the band’s 14th studio album slated for worldwide release on July 28th via Napalm Records. “Holy Water” is the new song being released from said album. “Holy Water” is an upbeat rocker that is now available via all digital service providers. The band – Lajon Witherspoon, Clint Lowery, John Connolly, Vince Hornsby and Morgan Rose – have filmed a music video that captures the same passion that Sevendust delivers with their unforgettable live performances. Denver, progressive metal outfit DREADNOUGHT are set to co-headline their TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY TOUR with crust, black-sludge band Immortal Bird hailing from Chicago IL, with support from Seattle-based atmospheric black metal 5 piece Izthmi. Although this is DREADNOUGHT’S first tour since their August, 2022 full length release of critically acclaimed album “The Endless”, (Profound Lore) expect to hear songs from their full catalog.
Michigan-based hard rock group Pop Evil have announced 9 new U.S. headlining tour dates this summer, including stops in Mobile, New Orleans, Colorado Springs, Minneapolis and more. Tickets to these shows go on sale to the public today, at 10 am local time. As previously announced, the band is also performing at numerous festival shows around the country this summer. US group Nighthawk has an imaginative set which translates well to stage. They’ve been able to successfully combine 1950s-60s rock with heavy metal, which was a huge influence on them, and they are looking to expand further on that. This is something that has been shown to regenerate playing actual rock and roll with no fear of looking to the past in order to move into the future.
Armored Saint – A Band of Brothers will have its world premiere in the band’s hometown of Hollywood on Tuesday 23rd of May at the Harmony Gold Theatre in Hollywood, CA. Director Russell Cherrington will attend to introduce the film and hold a Q&A after the film with members of the band. The film celebrates the 40 year career of Armored Saint and the 50 year friendship the band have shared from school in El Sereno, a Los Angeles suburb.
