Coheed and Cambria announces two new special events — the two day Neverender Festival at The Observatory Festival Grounds and the one day Neverender Rocks at the Red Rocks Amphitheater — under the “Neverender” alias that the band has long used to designate special events, tours, and cruises. Gåte are one of the most distinct bands to come out of Norway. Starting in the early 2000s, the band broke new ground by mixing Nordic folk tradition and modern rock. In 2002, their debut album entered at #1 on the Norwegian Albums chart and won them the Spellemann Award (Norwegian Grammy) for Best Newcomer.  

The second single from Venom’s forthcoming new album, Into Oblivion, is the bludgeoning Kicked Outta Hell, which is a ferocious thrasher of a track and while it has hints of classic Venom it also has a modern twist of brutality.  

UK progressive metal outfit Rolo Tomassi have unveiled a sparse yet striking new video for “Tempest,” a standout track taken from their recently released In The Echoes of All Dreams EP. The EP further expanded Rolo Tomassi’s boundary-pushing sound, weaving together elements of post-hardcore, metal, and ambient experimentation.
