For Soundgarden fans, this is a moment they’ve been waiting for: since the band’s final show in Hawaii in 1997, fans have hoped that Matt Cameron, Chris Cornell, Ben Shepherd, and Kim Thayil would once again take their exalted rock show on the road. This summer, Soundgarden will do just that.  

California death metal legend, Autopsy, has confirmed a headlining appearance on the upcoming “Slaughter by the Water” festival in Richmond, CA.  The event is scheduled to take place at the Craneway Pavilion at 2:00PM on June 25th.  Other confirmed performers are Nuclear Assault, Whiplash, Cattle Decapitation, Zombie Apocalypse, Warbringer, and more.  

You know, sometimes it’s really hard to be an objective reporter when your boss tosses your favorite thing in the Universe, in your lap. “Hey Mel, I’ve got the new Star Wars for you.” WHAT?!?! How can I say anything negative about my favorite character of all time, Darth Vader, getting his own comic?
