THE END MACHINE are back with their sophomore album, “Phase2,” which follows on the heels of their well-received and successful self-titled debut album released in 2018. The End Machine features former classic lineup Dokken members George Lynch and Jeff Pilson with the awesome singer Robert Mason (Warrant, Lynch Mob) on lead vocals.
Warner Bros. has announced they are going the reboot the Superman franchise. With author and journalist Ta-Nehisi Coates writing and J.J Abrams’ Bad Robot label producing, there is still no word of a director attached to the project. Deadline reports that the project is a “reboot” of the Superman “Man of Steel” film. It is unclear if Henry Cavill will return as Supes again. Coates is responsible for a couple of Marvel Comics series ranging from Captain America to Black Panther. There are rumors going around that Michael B. Image Comics is rushing the series back to print in order to keep up with the packs of fans barking for more.
Veteran metal band Images of Eden announces its fifth studio album, entitled Angel Born. The album is the follow-up to the band’s 2018 album, Soulrise, which was produced by the legendary Bill Metoyer. Angel Born will be released on March 26, 2021, via Pavement Entertainment. The instant grat tracks “Where Dreams Begin” and “Fight The Good Fight” are available to stream now on all digital platforms.
Symphonic metal powerhouse ELEINE are back with a continuation from their breakout new album ‘Dancing In Hell’. The band has announced a limited edition vinyl single, ‘Die From Within’, which was taken from the aforementioned album. The single contains four tracks/b-sides from ‘Dancing In Hell’. In addition to updated versions of “Die From Within” and “The World We Knew”, the record includes symphonic versions of “Die From Within” and “Story Untold”.
MTV Entertainment Studios announced during today’s ViacomCBS Streaming Event presentation that Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker, Wind River) has been tapped as the lead in the highly anticipated drama Mayor of Kingstown exclusively for Paramount+. Prolific director, Antoine Fuqua (Academy Award -winning Training Day), has signed on as executive producer in the new series from Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Taylor Sheridan – co-creator of Yellowstone, cable’s most watched show of 2020 – who recently signed a multi-year pact with ViacomCBS and MTV Entertainment Group.
2x GRAMMY-nominated group Rival Sons have announced the launch of their very own label, Sacred Tongue Recordings, with distribution through Thirty Tigers. The band recently regained the master rights to several of their early releases and will reintroduce them to the world by first remastering their independent full-length debut LP, Before the Fire [2009], and self-titled EP Rival Sons [2010], on all DSPS, CD, and Vinyl—for the first time—on March 26th.
