Joe Cornish will be directing an adaptation of Mark Millar’s comic, Starlight. Starlight follows the story of hero Duke McQueen who is who saved the universe. When he returns to Earth, no one believes his story. Years later in his older years, he is called on once again for one final mission. Deadline reports that Joe Cornish will be writing and directing the film under 20th Century Studios and will be produced by Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon.

Well, there it is. There’s the episode we’ve been waiting for. If we had any doubts about who John Walker was before, that’s all cleared up now. If you haven’t watched the show yet, I would stop reading now because there will be spoilers this point forward. I had mentioned in one of my reviews that we hadn’t seen the zealot of John Walker yet and boy was I in for a rude awakening. We knew it had to be coming, but I wasn’t expecting it to be so… violent. Speaking of violence, this show has had way more violence in it than I’ve expected out of a Marvel/Disney franchise. I’m not complaining. I think it goes hand in hand with the content and theme they’re trying...

Iron Maiden’s Legacy of the Beast free-to-play mobile game is excited to announce their first ever in-game band collaboration with Swedish metallers Amon Amarth. Entitled the Viking Invasion, the month-long event takes its broad themes from Iron Maiden’s song, ‘Invaders’ from 1982’s ‘The Number of the Beast’ album. Taking a page out of its own (comic) book, Legacy of the Beast created a new character and storyline borrowing from Amon Amarth’s latest album, ‘The Berserker’.

Zack Snyder who is responsible for Justice League, Watchmen and 300 is now releasing a new zombie movie Army of the Dead which takes place after a zombie apocalypse around Las Vegas. The story will follow Scott Ward (Dave Bautista) who is enlisted for a heist to go inside of a zombie quarantine zone. He creates a team of experts to help and is on a ticking time clock to get the mission accomplished in time. This movie looks absolutely ridiculously action-packed with a hysterical premise. We’re here for it. The movie will be in select theaters in May and on Netflix May 21. The trailer for Jupiter’s Legacy has dropped. The show will be airing on Netflix and it is an adaptation of Mark Millar and Frank Quitely’s graphic novels. The comics were originally released by Image Comics in 2013. The show will premiere on May 7th and follows the lives of superheroes who have aged out and need to hand over the reins to a new set of heroes. The show will star Josh Duhamel as Sheldon Sampson, Andrew Horton playing Sam’s son Brandon, and Elena Kampouris playing Sam’s daughter Chloe.
