Nintendo has announced that they plan to do a whole slough of new 3D games aired to release in October. The rumor comes for CV claiming “discussions with retail chains at executive level.” With many knocking the console because of it’s lack of games released and it’s price it’s about time they made up for it. However in this discussion they “have helped restore retailers’ faith in the console, which has been hit by errors since launch.” There is still a lot of speculation as to if this console came to early trying to get an edge on the new Xbox and Playstation console a year before. In my opinion, trying to get ahead of the game, put them way behind.

Eurogamer has reported that in a demo version of the Last of Us released with God of War: Ascension, there is a list of cutscene names hidden away within the code. Anyone know that anytime you release code into the nerd world someone is going crack it and spill everything that it’s worth. The codes contain very strong allusions to the game’s ending, as well as shamelessly revealing what happens to main characters. They’ve also found a full list of weapons and multiplayer details. We’re proud of your dedication guys, but please keep it to yourselves. In typical fashion, 4Chan, GameFAQs and some Reddit threads are already littered with unexpected spoilers, so watch where you step, the internet...
Primarily, I am not a fan of novels turned comics. I feel like they’re long, drawn out, and they generally lose my interest by the time the book is half way finished. In this fashion, I thought that I Am Legend made a great comic because it was a short enough story that it was capable of fitting into a small book. This information aside, when reading a blurb about Freak’s Amour by Tom DeHaven and produced by Dark Horse, I literally couldn’t stop myself from picking it up. Some of the human race stricken with radiation poisoning in a functioning world? Rape Bars? Mutated goldfish eggs being the best drug on the market? Count. Me. In.
More and more through out the comic community we have seen musicians veering their talents towards a different outlet. Out of our stereos and into our hands have fallen some great names in music and hopefully soon to be big names in books. There has been a vast production of these books as of late. However, what most haven’t realized is that this trend has been going on for awhile.
