Satyricon are one of the most recognizable black metal acts, stemming from a long line of history that started in the 90’s. The Norwegian black metal outfit, consisting of multi-instrumentalist Satyr and renowned drummer Frost, have released music sparingly in the past decade, but it seems fans won’t have to wait much longer for something sizable.
Brazilian death metal act Krisiun has been at it for years, but even though metal has been accepted in most countries they’ve played, it seems it’s not socially accepted in many others as well. Reports are saying that the band was arrested at the airport in Bangladesh for nothing more than “blasphemy.”
