Long Beach, California’s RIVAL SONS are kicking off their European summer tour today at Les Nuits de la Guitare festival in France. The band are playing a number of festivals across the continent, including Lollapalooza Paris and the UK’s Ramblin’ Man Fair and Steelhouse Festival.  RIVAL SONS recently wrapped up a monumental tour supporting heavy metal legends BLACK SABBATH for the band’s last ever shows.

At twelve albums into their career, the band still manages to surprise listeners, even when they claim to be familiar with their sound. So should you expect some curveballs on Howling, for the Nightmare Shall Consume? Yeah, that’s a safe bet.

Coming back in a spectacular fashion last year, Wolves in the Throne Room resurfaced with a US tour that sold out many of its dates. The atmospheric black metal group announced a few weeks ago their forth coming album, Thrice Woven, and now they’re following it up with tour dates with Pillorian.
