Front man Niklas Kvarforth has seemingly made it his entire career to be the most controversial figure in the depths of extreme metal, with the band’s first US run being surrounded by controversy because of his actions on stage. Invidia has officially announced the addition of Evan Seidlitz as the newest member of the band, replacing vocalist Travis Johnson on the upcoming “Screaming Black Curse” tour with All Hail The Yeti and supporting act Broken Rail. Seidlitz is no stranger to the frontman spotlight, known for his work in Vyces, Thrown Into Exile, and Grimace.
Danish composer and classically trained multi-instrumentalist, MYRKUR unveils her forthcoming album title Mareridt, out this fall on Relapse. It is the follow up to her masterful debut M, released back in 2015 to overwhelming critical acclaim. I think I make it clear as to what I’m looking for in music: either show me something new that’s going to demand my attention, or give me something of quality.
