
Dallas-based apocalyptic doom act, DEAD TO A DYING WORLD, has just wrapped-up tracking their sophomore LP, Litany, with Billy Anderson (Sleep, Neurosis, Melvins). Featuring collaborations and contributions from members of Sabbath Assembly, Pallbearer, Pinkish Black, and Ecocide, the album will be delivered in a massive 2xLP setup. Anderson will complete production on the album as the final factors of the album’s impending release later in the year are sorted in the coming weeks.

Tucson’s caustic metal outfit, LETHAL DOSAGE, has confirmed the second tour in support of their sophomore full-length, Consume. Following their Consume The Southwest run in February, preceding the release of Consume, the latest LETHAL DOSAGE run will now take place on a more widespread level, venturing well beyond the extreme Southwestern region into Texas, Louisiana, Colorado, New Mexico in addition to their native Arizona. With eleven shows confirmed, the itinerary runs from June 18th in the band’s hometown and running through 28th in Albuquerque. Portland’s AGALLOCH is readying to embark upon a full North American Summer excursion. Set to commence June 18th in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Serpens In Cvlmination tour will wind its way through nearly two-dozen cities, coming to a ceremonial close on July 8th in Denver, Colorado. The band will be joined by Obsidian Tongue, Vex, Jex Thoth and Thrones on select dates.

Oakland’s progressive doom powerhouse, SECRETS OF THE SKY, and Tucson’s bastard sons of sludge metal, GODHUNTER, will converge for their co-headlining tour in Las Vegas this weekend at the Doom In June Festival where they’ll share the stage with Novembers Doom, Christian Mistress, Acid Witch, Ides of Gemini, Demon Lung and more this Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7th. From there, both acts will traverse through the West Coast and Southwestern states, the tour sponsored by American Aftermath. The new trek will hit Oakland, San Jose, Glendale, Palm Desert, Tucson and Phoenix through June 14th.
