Richmond, VA doomsters WINDHAND have announced a new run of headlining European tour dates this coming fall with fellow Virginia based group Satan’s Satyrs. The tour commences September 21st in Copenhagen, DK and runs till October 13th in Bristol, UK. The two bands will also do a short North American run preceding the European Tour. Japanese heavy metal/teen-pop phenom, BABYMETAL has announced that they will be supporting KORN on their US Tour, kicking off in June. BABYMETAL will join the tour with Stone Sour, the band lead by Slipknot’s vocalist Corey Taylor, Skillet, Yelawolf, and Ded Islander. The tour kicks off on June 18th in Albuquerque, NM, and wraps up on June 25th in Nampa, ID. Full tour dates listed below.
Maryland doom legends THE OBSESSED have announced a full US tour in support of the forthcoming album Sacred. The tour commences on April 12th in Pittsburgh, PA and runs through May 20th in Baltimore, MD. Karma To Burn will provide direct support on all dates while Fatso Jetson (April 17 – May 1) and Lo-Pan (May 3 – May 20) will provide additional support on select dates. THE OBSESSED will also join Weedeater and label-mates Primitive Man on five West Coast shows during the run (April 27 – May 1). All confirmed tour dates below.
Finnish Doom Metal outfit SWALLOW THE SUN have returned to North America as they continue to tour on the strength of their latest release, Songs From The North (2015). The band begins a six week trek in the US and Canada supporting Amorphis tonight in Charlotte, NC. Speaking about their return to North America, the members of Swallow The Sun comment,
