The release of Polish extreme metal masters BEHEMOTH‘s upcoming tenth studio album, “The Satanist,” that has previously been announced for this fall has now been postponed to early 2014. With accolades from media outlets and fans alike still surging in on their sophomore LP, Sky Burial, following its release via Relapse in March, Richmond’s genre-destroying INTER ARMA is already back to work in the studio. Slayer will headline concerts at two venues it Slayer AdMat hasn’t played in 25 years – the Hollywood Palladium on Monday, October 28, and New York’s Theater at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, November 27, the night before Thanksgiving. Gojira and 4ARM will support.  

Masters of medieval metal, the mighty GWAR, are poised to return to the world of man as today they announced the first leg of their massive “Madness at the Core of Time” world tour, in support of their new album, Battle Maximus, which is out September 17th on Metal Blade Records. The tour, which features a completely brand-new show full of slavering creatures and deserving victims, is set to kick off October 2nd in Columbus, Ohio and runs through November 17th in Washington, DC.
