Legendary doom metal icons, SAINT VITUS, are pleased to announce a very special run of live rituals to celebrate their astounding thirty-fifth anniversary! Seattle’s riff-dredging doom powerhouse, SAMOTHRACE, is preparing to return to European soil in just over two weeks, with a new bout of shows confirmed in Holland, Denmark, Germany, Italy, France and Belgium at the very end of March and into the first two weeks of April. The primary objective of the band’s newest tour of the European continent is forging to their introductory concert at the illustrious Roadburn Festival in Tilburg. The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization is excited to announce that newly discovered Long Island, NY power metal band, ShadowStrike has been confirmed for Warriors Of Metal Fest VII to take place at O’Sheckys LIVE Bar & Grill on June 27th and 28th in Columbus, Ohio. ShadowStrike was first brought to the attention of Warriors Of Metal Fest organizers by Steve Jasuilewicz, one of the guitarists and founding members of the Pennsylvania’s Beyond Fallen; one of the earliest confirmed bands for the Fest this year.  

It was March 1994 when struggling artist/writer Billy Tucci’s modern-day samurai fable, “Shi – The Way of the Warrior” #1 first hit the comic shelves and changed the face of self-publishing. Illustrated by Tucci, co-written with Peter Gutierrez, and colored by Barry Orkin, “Way of the Warrior” transcended independent publishing with a unique melding of Japanese mythology, history, and action not seen before in comics and inspired a host of imitators.  

Relapse Records this week confirms the label signing of blistering grindcore quartet, THE DRIP, releasing an arsenal of details on the band’s debut recording for the label. Based out of Washington State, THE DRIP unloads a belittling, ravenous style of high-potency grind, having taken cues from the forefathers of the genre like Napalm Death and Brutal Truth yet contemporizing their approach to put them on par with Nasum, Rotten Sound, Insect Warfare and the like.  

KILL DEVIL HILL are proud to announce the addition of TYPE O NEGATIVE drummer Johnny Kelly to the band. Kelly, who also plays with DANZIG and his own band A PALE HORSE NAMED DEATH, replaces the recently departed Vinny Appice.  

Eve To Adam announced their tour with Italian melodic hard rockers, Lacuna Coil and LA based KYNG. This tour follows ETA’s stint with fellow rockers Escape The Fate and begins the band’s non-stop tour schedule including a plethora of festivals. The limited edition – 1,000 copies with no repress – Deluxe DigiSleeve CD was mastered by Dan O’Hare (BRUTAL TRUTH, XXX MANIAK) and also includes bonus music videos from TOTAL FUCKING DESTRUCTION, INFECTED SOCIETY, and UNSU.
