BLACK BREATH‘s impending set at MDF marks the band’s first time playing the fest since their 2010 performance, and also is the first tour of the year for the generally non-stop touring machine, following their misfortune in January where drummer Jamie Byrum was hit by a car and badly injured. ABRE OJOS is the audiovisual project of Scott Baker, a multimedia artist from Melbourne, Australia with over 20 years’ experience working across the areas of installation, experimental music, video and illustration. Baker’s ABRE OJOS is an exploration of synesthetic modalities using geometric animations and extreme audio frequencies.
