Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has made his choice when it comes to playing in the DC Comics movie sandbox. Not that it was any surprise who he would be playing in the up coming and in the long works SHAZAM movie that is sure to be in the slate of all things DC movies…

The big lug is going to play Black Adam. The Rock has been attached in one way or another to this project and character for some time now, so again no surprise on this one. What is a mystery might be when a SHAZAM movie might be on the schedule and the hopes that it will be part of the DC Universe being created with Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice staring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot. That film is slated for release in 2016.
